Greg Watson and the Independents move for a New Library for Ulladulla
Councillors Greg Watson, Josi Young and Bob Proudfoot have submitted a Notice of Motion to the next meeting of Shoalhaven City Council calling for a report on the establishment of a new Regional Library Ulladulla.

Councillor Watson said in support of the call a new Library for Ulladulla that the existing Library was grossly inadequate to serve the growing population of the Ulladulla District

Even though the facility was inadequate Library Staff do a magnificent job and provide an excellent service to the Library's clients Councillor Watson said.

Earlier studies have indicated that a library of a thousand square metres is needed to meet present and future demand, the type of facilities being offered by libraries these days include electronic access to research material as well as a wide range of options for visually challenged clients.

Councillor Watson said he was delighted to have the support of fellow Independent Councillors Josi young and Bob Proudfoot, who countersign the Notice of Motion.
The notice of motion will be considered by Shoalhaven City Council on Tuesday the 11th of November.
